The "AAA" rating's agencies lie just Business for Scotland false propaganda


I spotted this on Twitter, the letter had been published in the Metro free Newspaper.  
Sorry Joe, but you are completely wrong on your assumptions.

Sadly for Joe "Standard and Poor's" said nothing of the sort , all it said was it might be "BBB or higher" which isn't the same thing at all.

Joe is also wrong on the level of Scottish deficit too which is twice that of the UK , the actual numbers and future projections can be seen on the link below. They show that Scotland is in a much worse position that the UK overall and will continue to be so for the foreseeable future.

 The numbers to look out for are :
Excluding North Sea revenue, was a deficit of £14.9 billion (10.1 per cent of GDP). 
Including an illustrative geographic share of North Sea revenue, was a deficit of £14.8 billion (9.5 per cent of GDP).
For the UK, was a deficit of £75.3 billion (4.0 per cent of GDP).
(Remember the population of the whole UK is about 65 million compared with 5.5 million in Scotland )
